Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever changed there religion? I just turned 15 and my bestfriend from 2nd grade is catholic and I am jewish. I sometimes go to church with her and her family and really, really like it. My parents dont know that I have gone to church with her. My friend told me that if I like going to her church so much I should get baptized and go with them all the time but I know my mom and dad would be really made at me and tell me I cant. What should I do?

I say research it first and if you still really wanna convert then do it! I think your old enough to make that decision.
I have a secret to put out there on the table! I am 23 years old and I am a full time waitress. I make pretty decent money but I dont have health insurence. I have been dating my boyfriend for 6 YEARS and I really, really wanna get married! I have 1 friend who just got married this past July and they haven’t been together as long as we have. Everytime I bring it up to my boyfriend he tells me to drop it! So I made a desperate decision and decided to get off the pill and not tell him. I know if I get pregnant he will marry me not only cuz both of our families are kinda old fashion but like I said I dont have health insurence and my boyfriend coincidently just took a teaching job this past summer that has full benefits!! I have only been off the pill for about 6 or 7 weeks now, but no luck yet!

what you are about to do is wrong on more than one level. If you do get pregnant and he does marry you then how are you ever gonna know if he really married you for you and not because you were just knocked up and it was the right thing to do. Not to mention you would be starting your marriage out as a lie.
My confession isn’t really a confession it is more of a concern that isn’t spoken about in my household. I have a 14yr old daughter who in the last 1 1/2 has gone from being cute and chubby to just chubby. My husband and I are both rather thin people and obesity doesn’t run in either of our families really. He have a younger daughter who is 11 and is well on her way to following in her sister’s foot steps. I feel that this is all my fault…I, myself haven’t ever had to watch what I ate and my husband certainly doens’t either, I guess we are just lucky in that way. My daughters both have always been a little chubby and it was cute and pretty much normal to sociaty when they were young. They both constantly beg for food and trying to be a good mother I would give them whatever they wanted. Anytime we go anywhere we always have to stop at a fast food restaurant even if we ahve just had lunch or the girls will cry and carry on until I can’t stand it anymore. I am not a great cook and resort to take-out and t.v. dinners most of the time, which I know is playing a huge part in the problem now. I am so worried that I have started this horrible trend and dont know what to do about it!!
