This affair won’t bring me any closer to God

Please welcome the Naughty Nun to the sofa.

I am not really a nun or even catholic for that matter but I do have a confession to make. I am having an affair with the pastor from my church. He is married and I’m single. I went to him for some spiritual advice and we hit it off right away. It didn’t take long for us to get romantically involved . He is a very gentle and passionate man who is no longer in love with his wife but can’t divorce her because of the church. We are in love and the sex is awesome. Yes my pastor is hot! He has made me a better christian despite our sins. I don’t think anyone in the church is aware of what is going on because we have been very discrete. I’m sure you will all judge me but I don’t care. I have already confessed to God and that’s all that really matters anyway.

Junie: Naughty Nun you are right we don’t have the right to judge you. You are the one who has to live with your decisions. Things like this can get very ugly, especially when it involves a well respected leader, so be very careful.

The only thing I’d add to JJ’s remarks is … are you prepared to hear when the pastor is having affairs with other women, too? If he’s cheating on his wife with you, who’s to say he’s not cheating with other women, too. It’s well within your right to be OK with that … though if you’re not, I’d have second thoughts about your relations with him.
