Summer lovin’
Just a few reasons why I love summer…
What could be better than running through the sprinkler in a pink bikini?
Playing in the rain.
Splashing in the water table.
Raindrops on roses.
Enjoy the sunshine!

Milo and the peculiar princess
After enduring many days of blowing snow and frigid temperatures Milo’s visit to the crazy kingdom of this and that began to improve. A fabulous party was under way and he was the guest of honor. He danced, he ate, he laughed and then the moment he had been waiting for came to pass. It was time to meet the peculiar Princess Giselle and her wee under study Fabulous Fairah. He graciously offered his hat to the princess as she inspected his dapper attire. The giggling, the kissing the sugary snacks, it was almost too much for a bug who had spent the better part of his life in Debra’s closet.

Alas it is time for this traveling bug to head on down the road for a visit to Linda at Lime in the Coconut. His journey will begin after a wee winters nap.
Thanks Debra for sending Milo on this world tour. He will be on his way in a few days.

Can you keep a secret?
I’ve been searching for this year’s perfect anniversary date and I think I found it. Although I’m not a horror film or gory scenery kind of girl I do like to be a little scared now and then. So after a little investigation I came up with Haunted Hideaways, a company that specializes in haunted tours. They claim their stories are not scripted, which makes the tour fresh and entertaining. The tales and legends are blended with paranormal and historical fact making them entertaining and educational. The thought of a haunted tour of Detroit sounds rather intriguing. I’m not so sure Mr. Java will agree but our first date was a Halloween party so I think this is rather fitting. They also offer a graveyard tour called Beyond the veil.
This is what they have to say about the graveyard version.
Beyond The Veil – Tombstone Tour offers a unique way to learn about history, folklore and culture through guided tour that will take you to several local historical cemeteries. You will learn how to use paranormal investigation equipment. It doesn’t have to be nighttime to have an experience!
I think this one may be a bit over the top for my ultra-conservative hubby. I’ll let you know what I decide and how it turns out. The worst part will be keeping the secret and then dragging him to location without needing to explain myself. He isn’t very hip on surprises and not very comfortable when I say trust me you’ll love it.
Don’t forget this is a secret.
Shhh!

Bon Voyage Travel Treasure Give-away
This is it… the day of JJ’s Treasure Travel Give-away. Okay, first of all, I’m so excited. I don’t know why because you’re the one who may find a little seaside treasure in your mail box. Your wait is just a little longer. My plane leaves tomorrow and returns Sunday the 19th. Did you notice that my travel gnome has changed? Well, Ug the gnome, kind of had an accident. Oopps! This fellow was all too glad to step in. One problem is that he is rather large and his pointy cap could be considered a weapon, I suppose. Warning don’t piss off the chick on the plane with the gnome who is headed for Captiva Island. Hee He.
The rules are quite simple, actually there aren’t any. I don’t like rules too much. That’s why I was never very good at playing games. Yeah, I cheat sometimes.
So here goes. Leave me a message on this post. Tell me you’re seeking treasure or better yet tell me a story about your travels or favorite vacation. Or if you’re shy just leave your name but you know how I love stories. LOVE THEM! That’s it. Pretty simple. When I return I will print, cut and dump the names in a magic hat, probably this one. This hat is magic because it makes me feel like I’m on a mission when I wear it and when I’m on a mission, exciting things tend to happen.
Once this magic hat reveals the lucky name, I will email you for an address and poof, I’ll be at your door. No seriously, that’s just creepy. I’ll send your package off and a secret travel treasure will arrive in your mail box. Make sure when you leave your name there is a valid addy attached.
I will probably be MIA during the next few days. If I get a chance and I find a little WIFI, I may post some pics or just pop in to say hi , I will try, but don’t count on it for sure. I want to wish you all a peaceful Easter weekend. Have a great week and by all means leave me a message or two. I do hope the weather is good for you. Enjoy the spring sun and let your dreams run free…..
This is me, last year, at Sand Key. I’m always happiest when on the beach with the sun on my face and the surf in my ear. I just go with the flow and the rhythm is good.
Don’t forget to sign up for a little pirate treasure. Good luck!!!
Bye for now…. be safe always… be happy daily… day dream often… and be free forever……..
I love forever!!!

I said it-it happened
FYI to all my sofa diary friends. My computer went poof after my previous post about magic. So guess what…. I haven’t been able to work- no work- hmmmm, not so bad. I think my computer took the whole fantastical fun thing to heart and gave me what I wished for. Magic? maybe not be awefully ironic, don’t yah think? I’ll be back as soon as my computer is fixed or replaced if deemed terminal. Love ya all- now talk amongst yourselves till I get back. Oh yeah, be careful what you wish for 🙂
